Ailsa is BBC Good Food and olive’s food editor. She’s a graduate of Leiths School of Food and Wine, and previously worked in restaurants before moving into food writing. She’s worked for Sainsbury’s magazine, Good Housekeeping and a meal kit company in Canada, and has a wide array of experience in recipe development and food styling. She believes that cooking should be fun and doesn’t have to be complicated to be delicious. In her spare time, she loves experimenting and trying out new recipe ideas and flavour combinations for her friends.
