Ninja Foodi ZEROSTICK 3-piece set summary

Included in the Foodi ZEROSTICK saucepan set from Ninja are three pans: 16, 18 and 20cm in diameter. These saucepans are metal-utensil safe, dishwasher safe and oven safe up to an impressive 260C.

We’ve previously tested the Ninja Foodi ZEROSTICK frying pan, which performed fantastically in test. The Ninja Foodi range is suitable for all hob types.

What is the Ninja Foodi ZEROSTICK 3-piece set like to cook with?

Before we even got around to using the pans, this set scored full marks in our packaging category. Not only do the pans come securely packaged, but there is not a piece of bubble wrap, foam or a plastic bag in sight. All of the packaging is recyclable.

The handles are long and slim, making them easy to grip. They’re comfortable to hold, and there are hanging holes at the end.

The pans are relatively lightweight, and the heavier base means they remain stable and balanced on the hob.

For added versatility, these pans are oven safe up to 260C. While the pans are dishwasher safe, we found the non-stick coating so effective that we could easily wash by hand.

Results

These pans are a joy to cook with. We made scrambled eggs and produced the soft results we were looking for. The pan responded well to changes in temperature, allowing us to cook in a controlled way. All of the eggs came out of the pan with ease and nothing stuck.

Our porridge results were just as impressive. The milk bubbled away evenly and we could reach right into the corners of the pan to ensure all of the ingredients were fully incorporated.

We cooked onions in the medium-sized pan. They fried evenly and consistently, caramelising slowly to produce and rich and sweet flavour. Once we’d removed the pan from the heat, it cooled down slowly without overcooking or burning the onions.

Water takes around three minutes to come to the boil. We used the largest pan to cook pasta. With the lid on, the pan did start to boil over, but we caught it and turned the temperature down, which stopped it immediately.

Conclusion

This high-quality pan set boasts an impressive non-stick coating and brilliant cooking abilities. Each pan is a pleasure to cook with – they’re responsive to changes in temperature and cook evenly. We did notice the pan handles get quite warm towards the pan side, but otherwise we had no complaints about this set. The pans are versatile and, coupled with the frying pan, they’d make a fabulous addition to any kitchen.
