Ninja Foodi 2-in-1 Food Prep System summary
Available from Amazon (£129), Very (£99), Ninja (£99.99), Currys (£87.99), Argos (£80)
The Ninja Foodi 2-in-1 is a serious hand blender with a powerful five-speed hand mixer with beaters, so it is a versatile package, though it does not come with a beaker. With an 850W motor, the blender takes no prisoners; the four-pronged blade flies easily through anything in its path with speed and excellent results. The Ninja is also clever, as the motor recognises each attachment and optimises speed settings accordingly.

How easy is the Ninja Foodi 2-in-1 Food Prep System to use?
We found the Ninja easy to use and like that it can be set up straight from the box. There is just one motor unit, used either with the hand blender or the mixer head; both clip in securely and efficiently, using the guide marks to line them up.
Admittedly, the hand blender is a little heavy but incredibly powerful with its 850W motor, so it glides effortlessly through most ingredients. Plus, cleaning is simple and efficient with the broad blade basket; no food is trapped when washing by hand or machine.
Results
There is no purpose-sized beaker with the Ninja 2-in-1, so we used a tall jug with a reasonably wide neck to easily accommodate the blender basket and shaft. We were delighted with the results of the test. With the power and speed of the Ninja 2-in-1, we did not need to use the turbo to blitz the frozen berries in our smoothie; it sailed through effortlessly, creating a smooth, thick drink. Mayonnaise came together in seconds – it was creamy and looked more like soft ice cream than mayo and tasted delicious and light.
Conclusion
The Ninja is undoubtedly a serious hand blender with the added bonus of a hand mixer, robustly built and capable. It's especially good for serious cooks that make lots of soups and sauces.
