Cuisinart 3 in 1 cordless hand blender summary

The latest trend in kitchen equipment is to go cordless. It’s not just a gimmick as it makes perfect sense for anyone who wants to use a blender all over the kitchen or has problems reaching the hob from a power point when using a corded version.

For that reason, we loved the versatility of the Cuisinart 3 in 1 hand blender, which was easy to set up from the off, even if we did have to wait for around two and a half hours for it to fully charge.

Cuisinart 3 in 1 cordless hand blender results

When powered up, we found we had a blender more than capable of smoothing out berry smoothies, whipping up mayonnaise and making cloud-like egg whites for meringue. Taking the blender over to a pan of soup on the hob was easier than with a traditional model as we could use it freely without worrying about the trailing cord knocking over items on the worktop. This really comes in handy in those moments when you’re trying to get everything finished off for Sunday lunch, for example. Even in that frantic rush at the end of cooking, it was easy to just give the gravy a final whizz on the hob, no matter how near a power point.

Talking of taking the Cuisinart straight to the pan, a highlight of this blender was the masher attachment. Amazing! Goodbye potato ricer, this is now our go-to method, as the large plastic head gets the smoothest of results. We added butter and a splash of milk for silken mashed potato and carrots. Just rinse the head through under the tap to clean afterwards.

Cuisinart 3 in 1 cordless hand blender verdict

This model is recommended for all-round versatility but because it sits on its charging station, it's best for those who'd use it often as it makes sense for it to be on display so it'll take up counter room. It looks great, works well, isn’t too noisy, is easy to clean and can go anywhere – kitchen island, end of the worktop, even out to the barbecue table to whizz up salsas or crush the ice for cocktails. You’ll get around 20 minutes of use before its recharge time and that was plenty of time for it to power its way through our jobs. We loved it.
