Robert Thompson is the Michelin-starred chef behind Thompson's restaurant in the Isle of Wight. With a passion for fine dining, his journey began as an apprentice at L'Ortolan in Reading, followed by Commis Chef at Winteringham Fields.
He has also worked at The Hambrough, The Pond Café and The George Hotel. His dedication to the craft earned him a Michelin star at The Hambrough Hotel, making it the only Michelin-starred restaurant on the Isle of Wight. Additionally, it was recognized as the 20th best restaurant in the UK by the Good Food Guide.
