Robert Ortiz

Robert Ortiz grew up near the Marañón River in Peru’s Amazonian terrains and cooked with both his mother and grandmother as a child. His journey began at the renowned Costa Verde restaurant in Peru's capital, Lima, before moving on to The Landmark Hotel in London. Robert also assumed a pivotal role in Virgilio Martínez's Lima restaurant in London's Fitzrovia, which later won a Michelin star. Today, Robert owns and operates his own restaurant, Chakana.
