Mike Gerrard is an award-winning travel and drinks writer who specialises in spirits. He has written for Waitrose Drinks magazine, The Alcohol Professor, Tucson Foodie, The Tasting Panel, and Drinkhacker and is an editorial staff writer on US drinks magazine Chilled. He spends winters at his home in southern Arizona, close to the Mexican border, so is a particular fan of tequila, mezcal and other Mexican spirits.
