Chef Allan Pickett began his formal education in pastry and hospitality at Thanet Technical College. He served as the executive head chef at The Swan at Shakespeare's Globe from 2016 to 2019 and then as the executive head chef of The Ground Floor at The Standard Hotel from 2019 to 2020.
Allan took on the role of executive chef for Marco Pierre White at L'Oscar in 2022-2023 and became the head chef at The Pavilion Knightsbridge in 2022. Allan also trained with renowned chef Albert Roux, known for his three-Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Gavroche.
