Cassie Best - Senior food editor
Cassie trained at Leiths School of Food and Wine before joining BBC Good Food on an internship scheme. Fast forward a few years and Cassie now coordinates all recipe content for the brand. Anna Glover - Acting senior food editor
Anna is a recipe writer and food stylist and has worked on food magazines for over seven years, writing recipes for titles including Olive and Sainsbury’s. She loves whipping up new creations with well-known ingredients, resulting in easy, accessible recipes that everyone can make.See Anna's recipes, guide and videos
Barney Desmazery - Food editor-at-large
As the longest standing member of the cookery team, food editor-at-large Barney has written, developed and tested thousands of recipes for BBC Good Food, working alongside practically every British celebrity chef of the last decade along the way. Miriam Nice - Senior content planner
Before joining the team in 2014, Miriam had her own recipe blog and ran a private catering business, and her book Cooking Without a Kitchen was published in 2013. She has a degree in graphic design and illustration and a passion for combining innovative and unexpected flavours for her recipes. See Miriam's recipes, guides and videos
Esther Clark - Deputy food editor
Before she joined the Good Food team, Esther trained at Leith’s School of Food and Wine, worked as a chef on a farm in Italy and has also written a cookbook, Mexicana! She writes recipes for Good Food, and tests them to perfection. At home, she loves to cook comforting dishes in her little east London kitchen.See Esther's recipes, guides and videos
Liberty Mendez - Cookery assistant
After completing a professional chef diploma at Westminster Kingsway College, Liberty went on to work as a pastry chef at the House of Commons before joining the team at Good Food. Specialising in all things patisserie, her cakes are much sought-after among the Good Food team – the proof’s in the pudding. She’s also interested in environmental issues and endeavours to make the Test Kitchen as eco-friendly as possible.
